Love was the former owner
But quiet is renting our house
It ceases my lips from speaking
But forms a sarcastic smile
Suspense now raised one of your eyebrows
You asked me if there’s someone else
I replied, “yes, hell yes”You asked if it’s another man; I said (no)
You laughed and say, “Is it a woman?” I say (yes)
Surprisingly you ask me for her nameAnd her name is me
And she loves me more than you’ll ever know
And I finally see that
Loving you and loving me just don’t seem to work at all
So patiently
She’s waiting on me to tell you that she needs love
And to choose between you two
Boy, you know if I have to choose, I choose meAnd she told me to tell you to never to hurt me again
‘Cause if you haven’t heard, she’s a bad chick
Even though I haven’t been
Yet and still you try and test me by raising an angry hand
Put it down, put it downI’m leaving; don’t try and stop me (no)
I’m late, and she is waiting (yes)
My love for me is to much, so I can’t stayAnd her name is me
And she loves me more than you’ll ever know
And I finally see that
Loving you and loving me just don’t seem to work at all
So patiently
She’s waiting on me to tell you that she needs love
And to choose between you two
Boy, you know if I have to choose, I choose me’Cause she’s actually forming a threesome
And I’m happy that I can join them
Their names are me, myself, and IAnd the name is me
She loves me more than you’ll ever know
I finally see that
Loving you and loving me just don’t seem to work at all
So patiently
She’s waiting on me to tell you that she needs love
And to choose between you two
Boy, you know if I have to choose, I choose me
She’s waiting on me to tell you that she needs loveGotta choose between you two
And you know if I have to choose, I choose me (me)
I gotta go with me

From WBIR News Knoxville TN

“Sandra Davis worked with Kim Enix several years ago at the Salvation Army, where Enix worked several years ago as a domestic violence counselor. “Everybody loved Kim,” Davis said. “I don’t think you could find anybody who would have anything negative to say about her.” When Davis heard police suspect Enix died at the hand of her ex-husband, she said, “I just went numb from my head down to my feet because it’s such a tragedy that someone who fought against domestic violence has now become a statistic of domestic violence. None of us standing here today would’ve ever thought that this would’ve happened to Kim.” Sign up for Take 10, the WBIR lunchtime newsletter “

Enix’s visitation and funeral took place Sunday evening, and her burial is Monday morning.

Hundreds of people flowed through Mynatt Funeral Home in Fountain City Sunday evening.

Sandra Davis worked with Kim Enix several years ago at the Salvation Army, where Enix worked several years ago as a domestic violence counselor.

“Everybody loved Kim,” Davis said. “I don’t think you could find anybody who would have anything negative to say about her.”

When Davis heard police suspect Enix died at the hand of her ex-husband, she said, “I just went numb from my head down to my feet because it’s such a tragedy that someone who fought against domestic violence has now become a statistic of domestic violence. Davis attended Enix’s visitation with fellow former Salvation Army colleagues, including Karen Davis.

“I can always remember that smile she had,” she said, calling Enix, “Very helpful.”

“She’s going to be missed,” former Salvation Army colleague Nancy Terrell said. “She was a good friend.”

Angie Marcum attended the visitation with a group of coworkers from Beverly Park Place, where Enix was employed as a social worker until the day she died.

“I cannot even think of a day that she wasn’t smiling,” Marcum said. “She was always pleasant, always had great things to say to everybody. She always made you feel good.”

Pam Widmer also works at Beverly Park Place.

“She never met a stranger,” Widmer said, describing Enix. “Just a friend to everybody.”

The packed parking lot at Mynatt Funeral Home attests to the many lives she touched.

Natalie Pinzon and Kelly Wolfe attended the visitation together. They worked with Enix through the Family Justice Center, where they advocated for victims of domestic violence.

“She was one of the best advocates that we had,” Pinzon said. “She was always smiling, always ready to help the victims with anything they needed, especially, you know, finding housing, getting orders of protection.”

Pinzon estimates Enix helped thousands of women over the years.

Enix leaves behind three daughters, including her 2-year-old Brooklynne, whom she had with her ex-husband and suspected murderer Tyler Enix.

Brooklynne’s disappearance was the source of an Amber Alert issued on Wednesday. She was found safely the next day with Tyler Enix, in Ohio.

Enix faces the charge of first-degree murder in the death of his ex-wife.
